Adis and Suze at Gunbalanya

Adis Hondo and Suze Houghton have worked together since 1996, at the inception of Hand in Hand Productions.


Adis trained at the Art Academy in Sarajevo. Starting with a love of photography, he moved from Stills to moving image Film Cameras and then on to Video in the mid 80’s.Working for nearly a decade in (former) Yugoslavian Television, Adis turned his hand to all content areas including drama and documentaries, children’s television and current affairs, as both cinematographer and editor. He worked for several international news organizations during the 1990’s conflict in Bosnia.
Since arriving in Australia Adis has ridden the crest of each wave of filmmaking technology, his current obsession being 3D cameras and editing systems.
Adis has provided Cinematography, Stills photography, Editing, Post Production and Directing skills to numerous local Australian and international productions.


With a background in community theatre, Suze now works predominantly as a Location Sound Recordist, but has a range of film credits including Writer, Director, Producer and Production Manager.
She spent the best part of the last decade at screen resource organisation Open Channel, predominantly in the Training department in Coordinator and Management positions.
Suze has a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment from Open Channel (2006) as well as a Diploma of Video Production from RMIT (2004), and is currently completing an Advanced Diploma of Professional Screenwriting, also at RMIT.
